Markey, Congressman John Tierney, and a bipartisan group of more than 100 lawmakers sent a letter urging President Barack Obama to fund the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) at the FY2011 level of $4.7 billion. Funding for LIHEAP in FY2012 was cut by 24 percent, to $3.47 billion.

Markey, Kerry Praise Release of $21 Million in Home Heating Funds for Massachusetts

Division of Banks Orders Internet Reverse Mortgage Companies to Cease Activity in Massachusetts
