Mortgage Subsidy Program

October 29, 2008 – (RealEstateRama) — The Town of Amherst is currently accepting applications from moderate-income households, whose incomes are below 80% of the HUD defined area medium income, to participate in the Town’s mortgage subsidy program to purchase a home in Amherst, MA. Eligible households can receive a maximum of $50,000 to go towards the purchase price of a home or condo in Amherst. Currently funding is available for households to participate in the program. Funding will be provided on a first-come first serve basis.
