WASHINGTON, D.C. – May 27, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — The Scituate Town Library will be relocating to the Scituate Harbor Community Building at 44 Jericho Road on Monday, June 15th. The current library at 85 Branch Street will be closing on Friday, June 5th at 5 pm.

Between June 5th and 15th, the library will be closed for the transition to the temporary library location. During this time, due dates will be extended and late fines will not be imposed for Scituate Library materials (other non-Scituate OCLN materials will need to be returned when due).

Library patrons are reminded that the Scituate Town Library is a member of the Old Colony Library Network and as such are welcome to borrow items from any of its 32 member libraries. For a full list, see https://www.ocln.org/library-locations-hours/.

The library will remain at the Scituate Harbor Community Building through the fall of 2016, when the library’s expansion and renovation will be completed and library service can return to 85 Branch Street.

The library is hosting a “Going Away” party on Thursday, June 4th from 4-7 p.m. in the library’s Community Room. Join us for refreshments, crafts, and leave a message on the library’s walls!
