Framingham Public Works Announces Four Neighborhood Meetings in March, 2017
WASHINGTON, D.C. – (RealEstateRama) — Framingham Public Works is pleased to announce that four (4) Neighborhood Meetings have been scheduled in March, 2017 to provide an opportunity for residents to preview upcoming construction projects in and around their neighborhood.
Indian Head Water Tank Replacement Project March 6, 2017 at 7:00PM, Framingham Memorial Building, Blumer Room, 150 Concord Street.
Construction plans will be reviewed for the upcoming replacement of the existing, aging water storage tank located in the Indian Head Road neighborhood. This important Town asset is critical to the water supply and fire protection services in Town.
Fountain Street Roadway and Utility Project and the Dudley Road Multi-Use Recreational Path March 8, 2017 at 7:00PM, Keefe Technical School, School Committee Conference Room, 575 Winter Street.
The Town and its consultants will provide an overview of the two-phased construction plans for the Dudley Road Multi-Use Recreational Path that will provide connectivity and recreational access to the community as well as design concepts for the Fountain Street Roadway and Utility Project that will improve both the underground and above ground infrastructure.
Main Street Retaining Wall March 9, 2017 at 7:00PM, Framingham Memorial Building, Blumer Room, 150 Concord Street.
The Town will review the upcoming plans to replace a retaining wall and manage traffic in the area of 13-17 Main Street near the Route 9 ramp at Framingham Center due to structural failure. Temporary support measures are in place until construction begins.
Union Avenue Utilities-Phases 1-3 March 15, 2017 at 7:00PM, Framingham Public Library, Costin Room, 49 Lexington Street.
In 2016, 80% of Phase 1 of this important water/sewer/stormwater infrastructure project was completed. When the construction season begins, Phase 1 will be completed and Phase 2 will begin. A construction detour will be in place throughout the season and some new traffic patterns discussed.
