Brewster’s Anne Blatz to Serve on the Executive Committee of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors®
Waltham, Mass. – December 7, 2016 – (RealEstateRama) — Annie Blatz, broker-manager at Kinlin Grover Real Estate in Brewster, will serve as Immediate Past President of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® (MAR) in 2017.
As the Immediate Past President of the Association, Blatz will serve in an advisory capacity to the MAR president, act as an association spokesperson, and assist in the administration of the affairs of MAR between meetings of the MAR Board of Directors. In this role, she also will serve on the MAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors during 2017.
Prior to serving as 2016 MAR president, Blatz served two terms on the Leadership Team as Secretary/Treasurer. She has also served MAR as Chair of the Professional Standards Committee and as a member of the Finance, Communications, and Strategic Planning Committees. Annie has served on the MAR Board of Directors since 2004. She has also served as the Communications and Technology Focus Area Vice President in 2011, Legal Affairs/Business Development Vice President in 2010, and the Cape Cod & Islands Region Vice President in 2008 & 2009.
On the local level, Annie served as the Cape Cod & Islands Association of Realtors® President in 2007, and was the recipient of its Realtor® of the Year Award in 2006.
At the national level, Blatz was a member of the NAR Board of Directors and Public Policy Coordinating Committee as well as the chair of the Resort and Second Home Real Estate Forum. She currently serves as a member of the State and Local Issues Mobilization Support Committee. She has been a member of the Global, Communications, and Public Policy Coordinating committees. Annie has also been a member of the Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) Advisory Group, and a graduate of the 2010 NAR Leadership Academy. In 2011, Blatz served as the chair of the Resort and Second Home Real Estate Committee. In 2007, she was chair of NAR’s Large Board Sub Forum and the vice chair in 2006.
A Realtor® since 1985, Annie has earned her Accredited Buyer Representative Manager (ABRM), Home With Diversity (AHWD), Certified Buyer Representative (CBR), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Resort & Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS), Transnational Referral Certification (TRC), and Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB), and GREEN professional real estate designations. She also holds her Loss Mitigation Certification (LMC).
