Lenox Broker Installed as 2018 President-Elect of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors®
WALTHAM, Mass. – December 21, 2017 – (RealEstateRama) — Anne Meczywor, broker/associate at Roberts & Associates Realty Inc. in Lenox, was installed on December 7, 2017 as President-Elect of the 24,000-member Massachusetts Association of Realtors® (MAR) for 2018. The event took place at Hotel 1620 in Plymouth, Mass. and included the installation of the MAR Board of Directors and Executive Committee. Meczywor’s term officially begins on January 1, 2018.
As president-elect, Meczywor will participate at all levels of the Association’s decision-making process, represent the Association at meetings and business functions, and serve as a spokesperson for the Association on real estate industry-related matters. She will perform the duties of the Association’s president in her absence. Meczywor will chair the MAR Leadership Development Committee, and continue as a member of the MAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors.
Prior her election, Meczywor served as the 2016 and 2017 MAR Secretary/Treasurer, served as the 2014 MAR Vice President of Government Affairs, and as 2015 MAR Vice President of Communications/Technology. She was the West Region Vice President in 2012 and 2013. Meczywor has been a member of the Executive, Finance, Government Affairs, and Strategic Planning Committees. Meczywor graduated from the 2011 MAR Leadership Academy and served as a member of the Leadership Academy Task Force.
On the local level, Meczywor served as President of the Berkshire County Board of Realtors® in 2010. That same year, she was named the Realtor® of the Year by her local board.
At the national level, Meczywor will chair the Membership Policy and Board Jurisdiction Committee in 2018. Meczywor is a 2015 graduate of the NAR Leadership Academy.
A Realtor® since 2001, Meczywor has earned her Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Certified Buyer’s Representative (CBR), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), and Resort and Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS) professional designations and certifications. She was a two-term director for the Northeast Region of the Council of Residential Specialists.
