Medway’s Paul Yorkis to Serve on the Executive Committee of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors®
Waltham, Mass. – December 21, 2017 – (RealEstateRama) — Paul Yorkis, President of Patriot Real Estate, Inc., will serve as Immediate Past President of the Massachusetts Association of Realtors® (MAR) in 2018.
As the Immediate Past President of the Association, Yorkis will serve in an advisory capacity to the MAR president, act as an association spokesperson, and assist in the administration of the affairs of MAR between meetings of the MAR Board of Directors. In this role, he also will serve on the MAR Executive Committee and Board of Directors during 2018.
Prior to serving as 2017 MAR president, Yorkis served as the MAR President-Elect and the Chairperson of the RPAC Board of Trustees. He was the MAR Government Affairs Vice President in 2015 and served two terms as the Boston Region Vice President. Yorkis is a member of the Executive, Finance, and Professional Standards Committees and served as a member of the Homelessness Task Force and the Education Inclusivity Subcommittee. Yorkis has served as the Federal Political Coordinator for Congressman Joe Kennedy since 2013, the year Kennedy was elected the U.S. Representative for Massachusetts’s 4th congressional district. In 2011, Yorkis was named Massachusetts Realtor® of the Year.
At the local level, Yorkis has been a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Boston Real Estate Board and the Greater Boston Association of Realtors®. He is also a member of the Professional Standards Committee and Rental Issues Task Force. Yorkis is also a Certified Professional Standards Mediator for GBAR.
At the national level, Yorkis served on the NAR Board of Directors. He is a member of the Professional Standards, Public Policy Coordinating and State and Local Issues Policy Committees. Yorkis is a founding member of the Charitable Foundation Roundtable Exchange, and past Director of the Disaster Relief Foundation.
A Realtor® since 1991, Yorkis has earned the Loss Mitigation Certification (LMC), Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) and the Certified Buyers Representative (CBR) professional designations. He is also a licensed real estate instructor.
