Massachusetts Realtor Betsy Veidenheimer Joins Barrett & Company Real Estate
Concord, MA – August 10, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — With a resume that would dazzle even the most successful of entrepreneurs, Barrett & Company Real Estate is delighted to welcome Concord, MA native Betsy Veidenheimer to their growing family of agents serving home buyers and sellers of the Greater Boston area.
Correctly pronounced VIGH-den-high-mer, Betsy graduated from Lawrence Academy in Groton, Massachusetts and went on to earn her degree in English Literature at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio. Upon her graduation, she made the leap to Wall Street and worked as an Equity Sales Trader with Morgan Stanley. There she learned to hone her negotiating skills and further improve her ability with numbers, which she feels gives her an advantage.
“I think I have a good head for numbers and figures” Betsy says, “and I think that’s a part of real estate that sometimes people don’t think about.”
Previously with Coldwell Banker, Betsy is not just a number cruncher. She is an active member in the community with two sons still in the Concord school system, and two step-sons pursuing college endeavors, one at Brown University in Providence and the other at Lewis & Clarke in Portland, Oregon. In addition she shows her dedication and involvement in the community with her position as President of the Concord Carlisle Community Chest.
To add to her impressive list of schooling and work experience, Betsy also earned her MBA in business school at University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill. And having worked in strategy consulting up until late, she is excited to be a part of the Barrett environment.
