TOWN OF SCITUATE LIBRARY RENOVATION AND EXPANSION
The Public Building Commission of the Town of Scituate, Massachusetts will issue periodic public updates about the construction progress for the Town Library project. Groundbreaking occurred on September 1, 2015. Completion is anticipated for late 2016/early 2017.
Boston Sets Affordable Housing Record
Mayor Martin J. Walsh announced today that Boston has surpassed the 1,000-unit mark of new affordable housing units permitted in a single year. The 1,022 new units of affordable housing permitted in 2015 is the largest number of new units permitted in a single year in 20 years of record-keeping. The previous record was 862 units in 2004. This number includes all deed-restricted housing permitted in the City of Boston
